How to Factory Reset HP/Poly Edge E Series Phones - The Telecom Spot

If you've forgotten the admin password or just need to clear out your HP/Poly Edge phone, then you'll just need to follow the following steps to Factory Reset your Poly Edge E phone.

This will apply to the following models: HP/Poly E100, HP/Poly E220, HP/Poly Edge E300, HP/Poly Edge E320, HP/Poly E350, HP/Poly E400, HP/Poly E450, HP/Poly  E500, HP/Poly E550

  1. Power up the phone and the Handsfree and Headset buttons should illuminate (This may depend on the Edge E model)


    and once they turn off press the 1, 5 and 3 Key at the same time until the below screen appears:

  2. Now either enter the known phone password or the MAC address of the phone in lower case.

  3. Press Ok after entering the MAC address. The phone will reboot 3 or 4 times over the next 5-10 minutes. Do not press any keys during this time. 

  4. If the phone is not automatically provisioned, you may be asked to change the admin password on the phone.  After this, you are ready to continue setting up your phone!
