  • Can I still order if I do not have a credit card?

  • Sure can! We accept PayPal, Check, Money Orders, and Wire Transfers (subject to additional fees).

  • Can I lease a phone system?

  • We offer leasing through our partner companies. Please call us for more information.

  • Can I order if I am an International company?

  • Yes. International orders are subject to additional handling charges and applicable shipping rates, and customs/duties/taxes.

  • What if I forget my account password?

  • You can retrieve your password (via e-mail) by clicking on the "forgotten password" button under login.

  • Why should I register and login to your store?

  • When you register with The Telecom Spot, you will have the convenience of ordering quickly and easily the next time around. You will also be able to receive special promotions, up-to-date product newsletters, and technical tips to help you with your system. If for any reason you decide to opt-out of this feature, please send an email to sales@thetelecomspot.com with the subject "remove."

  • How long does it take to ship my order?

  • Orders typically ship out within 24-48 hours. However, in most circumstances, orders placed before 3PM will ship out same day. If there is any significant delay in shipment, you will be contacted promptly by one of our friendly service representatives.

  • How do I check the status of my order?

  • We will send you an email confirmation informing you of the status of your order. You will also receive a tracking number letting you know exactly where your package is

  • How long is my warranty period?

  • Warranty periods are stated on individual invoices of sale. Re-manufactured equipment includes a full 90 day warranty and brand new equipment includes a full one year warranty (or greater).   • Can I trade-in or sell my old telephone system?

  • Yes. The Telecom Spot purchases your out of service, discontinued and defective equipment from all major manufacturers (Nortel, Avaya, Cisco, Panasonic, NEC, Toshiba and many more). Simply email us at purchasing@thetelecomspot.coma list of the equipment you have to offer, as well as the condition and we will give you a purchase price for your equipment as soon as possible.

  • What is 'New' product?

  • 'New' product is unused in original manufacturer's packaging complete with all original documentation and accessories

  • What is 'Like New' product?

  • 'Like New' product is re-manufactured to a virtually new condition Telephones are guaranteed to be like-new, completely tested with no cracked plastics, minimal to no discoloration, new line and handset cords, new designation strips, and replacement polyflex membranes Voice mail systems, carriers, circuit packs, line/stations modules, and processors are guaranteed to be like-new, completely tested and defaulted to factory specifications

  • Can I return my product?

  • For your convenience, we offer returns on both new and like new products. All returns must be received within 14 days of the date of purchase. The product(s) must be in unopened and in original condition. A 20% restocking fee is charged on all product returns. Returned products must include all original packaging, documentation, and accessories. Incomplete or defective returns will be refused. We will be happy to assist you.

  • Do you provide technical support?

  • We offer limited technical support to our customers for isolated feature-related and setup-related questions. This includes the majority of system feature questions, telephone setup and feature questions, and voice mail setup questions. Extensive installation and system support is scheduled by appointment and charged hourly ($75/hour).

  • What products carry manufacturer warranties?

  • All Polycom, Plantronics, Bogen, and Intellitouch products carry extensive one year (or greater) manufacturer's warranties. These product warranties are covered by their respective manufacturer and are not covered by The Telecom Spot.

  • Who installs Phone Systems?

  • We always recommend that you find a technician within your local area that is qualified to work on the phone system that you purchase. One of the simplest ways to find a local tech is to look in your local yellow pages under Telephone System/Service. Prior to contacting one, we will inform you about what they will want to know in order to estimate the cost appropriately. Depending on where you are located, we may or may nor be able to recommend a particular installer that we have experience with. Ask your representative when purchasing.

  • Can I really Install my own phone system?

  • We always recommend that you have a qualified technician install your telephone equipment. Some companies have installed their own equipment just fine and others have not. All telecom equipment installation requires some basic working knowledge of how the systems operate and not all manuals explain it perfectly in layman's terms.
