The Mediant 1000 from AudioCodes is an enterprise session border controller (E-SBC) and media gateway that provides a comprehensive connectivity solution for small and medium-sized enterprises. With the ability to handle up to 150 concurrent sessions, this device can effectively link IP-PBXs with any SIP trunking service provider, and it excels at connecting SIP to SIP environments. Additionally, the Mediant 1000 supports up to 192 voice channels in a 1U platform, allowing for flexible connectivity between TDM and VoIP networks, including legacy TDM PBX systems and IP-PBXs to the PSTN.
