Fanvil i10S SIP Mini Intercom (Indoor Use) - 1 Button, No Camera

Fanvil i10S SIP mini intercom with 1 button is designed for use with indoor environment with IP54 waterproof and dustproof protection. Fanvil i10S provides intercom fucntion, auto answer, supports 2 SIP lines, is easy to install and configure, as well as provide broad compatibility with major opensource SIP platforms.
Fanvil i10S can be connected with original office access control thru the output interface, which enables users to open the door remotely via VoIP phones, cellphones after visitor calls on the i10S intercom call button.
Fanvil i10S series intercoms can also be efficiently configured and managed by batch deployment on the Fanvil Device Management System.

I've been looking for a simple wired intercom system I could use in my home, which scarcely seems to exist anymore. For residential, all options seem to be wireless these days. The only wired solutions I could find were either commercial ones, which are either complex and expensive, or cheap "window intercom" systems that don't allow true 2-way communication.
This Fanvil was the only thing I found that seemed to work for my purposes, and the price was right. When I finally received them and logged into the configuration utility, I was blown away by the capabilities of these things. Despite the low price, these are versatile devices that can be used for a variety of purposes with a complex phone system. But they can also be used in a simple peer-to-peer setup, allowing them to simply call each other, which I was able to configure in a few minutes with some help from Fanvil support and this document: https://www.fanvil.com/trydownfile.aspx?id=4941
I already had a POE ethernet switch in my attic, which allowed me to connect these with cat8 ethernet cables without a separate power cable or transformer (though that's an option as well). I like that it's relatively small compared to similar devices, with a clean and streamlined look, unlike the cheap white plastic look of some window intercoms. The only thing that would make this thing more perfect would be the ability to flush mount it in a double-gang electrical box instead of surface mounting it (with a cover like the i12 or i16S).
