Description

The Grandstream GRP2601L is a 2-line Essential Lite SIP desk phone for our customers who need a simple, mass-deployable voice endpoint without PoE or built-in Wi-Fi. It supports 2 SIP accounts, 5-way audio conferencing, a 2.41-inch LCD, Noise Shield with AI noise reduction, dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, an included universal power supply, and GDMS cloud management.

Choose the GRP2601L when desks already have power outlets and you want the Essential Lite feature set with a wall-power adapter in the box. If your switches supply PoE, the GRP2601LP is the PoE sibling; if you need onboard Wi-Fi 6 at 2.4 GHz, look at the GRP2601LW instead.

The Telecom Spot Take

Best for IT buyers provisioning large numbers of basic desk phones where each station has AC power and a wired network drop. The GRP2601L keeps cost and cabling straightforward: LAN plus PC pass-through, headset EHS support, and GDMS or TR-069 mass provisioning. It is not ideal when you must power the phone from the switch alone (use GRP2601LP) or when the desk has no Ethernet and needs Wi-Fi (use GRP2601LW).

Key Features

  • 2 SIP accounts / 2 lines — Enough for a primary business line plus a second account without moving to a higher-line GRP model.
  • 5-way audio conferencing — Run small multi-party calls from the desk phone without a separate conference bridge for basic collaboration.
  • Noise Shield + AI noise reduction — Filters ambient and sudden background noise so calls stay clearer in open offices.
  • GS-FEC voice resilience — Grandstream’s FEC is specified for up to 70% audio packet-loss resistance on unstable links.
  • Dual 10/100 Mbps ports (LAN + PC) — Share one wall jack between the phone and a workstation; no integrated PoE on the L model.
  • Included universal power supply — 100–240 V AC input, 5 V DC / 600 mA output; PoE is N/A on GRP2601L.
  • EHS headset jack — RJ9 headset port with Electronic Hook Switch compatibility for Plantronics, Jabra, Sennheiser and more.
  • GDMS / TR-069 mass provisioning — Centralized configuration and firmware upgrades for high-volume rollouts.
  • Enterprise security stack — Secure boot, TLS 1.3, HTTPS admin, SRTP/DTLS-SRTP options, and WireGuard VPN support.
  • 2.41" (132×48) LCD with 4 soft keys — Context-sensitive softkeys plus dedicated transfer, headset, mute, speaker, and volume keys.
