Description
The Grandstream GRP2601LP is a 2-line Essential Lite SIP desk phone with integrated PoE for our customers who want a mass-deployable voice endpoint without a wall power adapter at every desk. It supports 2 SIP accounts, 5-way audio conferencing, a 2.41-inch LCD, Noise Shield with AI noise reduction, dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports (LAN with IEEE 802.3af PoE plus a PC port), and GDMS cloud management.
Choose the GRP2601LP when your switches can power the phone over Ethernet. If each desk needs a power supply in the box instead, use the GRP2601L. If the desk needs onboard Wi-Fi 6 at 2.4 GHz, look at the GRP2601LW.
The Telecom Spot Take
Best for IT and facilities teams rolling out large numbers of basic desk phones on PoE switches. The LP keeps cabling simple—one Ethernet drop for power and data, plus a PC pass-through port—and still fits GDMS or TR-069 mass provisioning. It is not ideal when you lack PoE (use GRP2601L with its included PSU) or need built-in Wi-Fi (use GRP2601LW).
Key Features
- Integrated PoE — IEEE 802.3af Class 1 (3.84 W) with IEEE 802.3az (EEE) on the LAN port so the phone can run from a PoE switch without a desk PSU.
- 2 SIP accounts / 2 lines — A primary business line plus a second account on an Essential Lite footprint.
- 5-way audio conferencing — Small multi-party calls from the desk phone for basic collaboration.
- Noise Shield + AI noise reduction — Helps cut ambient and sudden background noise on calls.
- GS-FEC voice resilience — Specified for up to 70% audio packet-loss resistance on unstable links.
- Dual 10/100 Mbps ports (PoE LAN + PC) — Share one wall jack between the phone and a workstation.
- EHS headset jack — RJ9 headset port with Electronic Hook Switch compatibility for Plantronics, Jabra, Sennheiser and more.
- GDMS / TR-069 mass provisioning — Centralized configuration and firmware upgrades for high-volume rollouts.
- Enterprise security stack — Secure boot, TLS 1.3, HTTPS admin, SRTP/DTLS-SRTP options, and WireGuard VPN support.
- 2.41" (132×48) LCD with 4 soft keys — Context-sensitive softkeys plus dedicated transfer, headset, mute, speaker, and volume keys.
