Description
The Grandstream GRP2602LP is a 2-line Essential Lite SIP desk phone with Fast Ethernet PoE for our customers who want HD audio and four SIP accounts on a PoE-powered endpoint. It supports 4 SIP accounts on 2 lines, 5-way audio conferencing, a backlit 2.41-inch LCD, Noise Shield with AI noise reduction, dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3af PoE, HD handset and speakerphone audio, a swappable faceplate, and GDMS cloud management.
Choose the GRP2602LP when your switches supply PoE and 10/100 Mbps is enough. If you need Gigabit Ethernet on both the LAN and PC ports, use the GRP2602LG instead.
The Telecom Spot Take
Best for IT and facilities teams provisioning HD-capable Essential Lite desk phones on PoE Fast Ethernet switches. The LP adds dual-color line keys for four SIP accounts, HD audio, and a swappable faceplate while keeping cabling simple—one Ethernet drop for power and data, plus a PC pass-through port. It is not ideal when every desk needs Gigabit uplink and PC pass-through (use GRP2602LG).
Key Features
- Integrated PoE (Fast Ethernet) — IEEE 802.3af Class 1 (3.84 W) with IEEE 802.3az (EEE) on dual switched 10/100 Mbps ports so the phone can run from a PoE switch; package does not include a PSU.
- 4 SIP accounts / 2 lines — Two dual-color LED line keys with support for four SIP accounts on an Essential Lite footprint.
- HD handset and speakerphone — Full-duplex speakerphone with wideband HD audio for clearer day-to-day calls.
- 5-way audio conferencing — Small multi-party calls from the desk phone for basic collaboration.
- Noise Shield + AI noise reduction — Helps cut ambient and sudden background noise on calls.
- GS-FEC voice resilience — Specified for up to 70% audio packet-loss resistance on unstable links.
- Swappable faceplate — Allows logo customization without changing the handset hardware.
- EHS headset jack — RJ9 headset port with Electronic Hook Switch compatibility for Plantronics, Jabra, Sennheiser and more.
- GDMS / TR-069 provisioning — Centralized configuration and firmware upgrades for high-volume rollouts.
- Enterprise security stack — Secure boot, TLS 1.3, HTTPS admin, SRTP/DTLS-SRTP options, and WireGuard VPN support.
- 2.41" backlit (132×48) LCD with 4 soft keys — Context-sensitive softkeys plus dedicated transfer, headset, mute, speaker, and volume keys.
