Great access point and great transaction & fast shipping from The Telecom Spot

Great access point, easy to configure and the fact that it is reasonable priced and has an integrated controller, were the main factors for me to choose it over other brands. It integrates perfectly with my MoCa 2.5 network. As other reviewers has noted, my only concern is the firmware update procedure: you have to look at the website and copy the exact URL of the firmware you want to install. I can understand it is a way to prevent unexpected update but it could have been managed from the GUI. Thanks to The Telecom Spot for the smooth transaction and fast shipping too.

Great introduction to 6GHz

Wanted to get the most out of my new ThinkPad with 6e, & felt like it was time to upgrade my network from a wireless backhaul AC AP & router combo. Grandstream's reasonable pricing & integrated controller are very attractive compared to other brands.

Connected with a shielded 100ft cat 6a cable from my basement to a central location on my first floor through a 2.5Gb switch & 2.5Gb POE+ injector, I am seeing 150MBps wireless download speeds on the Thinkpad from my wired server in the basement on a 6GHz SSID.

Very satisfied with this AP overall. My only gripe is the firmware update procedure. It seems you can't do it from a local file unless you setup a TFTP or http server, and the online update is finicky with the URL you put in the field (the default didn't work). I eventually figured it out though. Not enough to knock a whole star off, I'd say it's 4.5/5. Adding the feature to upload a locally downloaded firmware file through the gui would get a 5/5 from me.

Overall though you have a pretty great AP at a bargain price, and The Telecom Spot was the best price I could find. Smooth transaction & fast shipping too, I would definitely shop here again.
