Description
This bundle pairs the Neat Bar Generation 2 video bar (NEATBAR2-SE) with the Neat Pad Generation 2 controller (NEATPAD2-SE) for a complete small-to-medium meeting room. Neat rates the bar for rooms with up to 16 ft / 5 m reach. You get a 50MP 113° camera, dual HDMI outputs for two 4K displays, a 5-microphone array, and an 8-inch PoE touch pad for in-room control or door-side scheduling. Use it as a dedicated Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, or Google Meet room—or plug in a laptop over USB-C for BYOD.
The Telecom Spot Take
Buy this kit when you want one Gen 2 bar and one Gen 2 pad in the same cart for huddle rooms and everyday conference rooms. The bar is the front-of-room camera, mics, and speakers. The pad is how people start and run the meeting. Do not use Pad Gen 2 with first-generation Bar, Board, or Frame. VESA screen mounts for the bar and wall, glass, or side mounts for the pad are sold separately. If your switch cannot feed IEEE 802.3af Class 3 PoE to the pad, add a PoE adapter.
Key Features
- Bar plus pad in one order: NEATBAR2-SE handles video and room audio. NEATPAD2-SE is the 8-inch controller and scheduling display Neat lists as compatible with Bar Gen 2.
- Sized for small and medium rooms: Neat publishes 16 ft / 5 m reach for Bar 2. That is the decision spec versus Bar Pro, which Neat rates to 33 ft / 10 m.
- 50MP camera with 113° view: Fixed f/2.8 lens, 4x digital zoom, automatic people framing, plus adaptive group, dynamic individual, and dynamic speaker-focus modes. People video is up to 1080p30.
- Two 4K screens: Two HDMI outputs. Neat Support states Bar 2 can drive up to two displays at 4Kp60. Dedicated rooms get dual-screen support on Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet; BYOD-only mode is single-screen.
- Room audio in the bar: Five microphones in an end-fire array, four tracking mics, echo cancellation, noise suppression, automatic gain control, and dereverberation. Opposing full-range drivers cancel vibration. The pad adds one table mic that the bar processes when both units use wired Ethernet.
- 8-inch Gen 2 controller: 1280 × 800 touch display, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 3, and Wi-Fi 6E. Use it at the table or as a scheduler outside the door. RGB side LEDs follow the meeting platform’s free/busy colors.
- One-cable BYOD: USB-C passthrough runs a meeting app from a laptop with or without the pad. HDMI-in remains available for wired content share. Ultrasound wireless share is listed on the bar; Neat notes ultrasound is not supported on Microsoft Teams.
- Platforms Neat publishes: Native Zoom Rooms, native Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, and Google Meet. Bluetooth is listed for Teams proximity join. Manage both devices in Neat Pulse.
- Mounts you still order: The bar carton includes a table stand, wall mount, snap-on mount, and mount adapter. The optional VESA screen-mount kit does not ship with NEATBAR2-SE. Pad Gen 2 ships with no mount and no PoE injector.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in this Neat Bar 2 + Pad Gen 2 bundle?
You receive two factory cartons. The bar box has Neat Bar Generation 2 (NEATBAR2-SE), a 6.5 ft HDMI cable, a 9.8 ft Ethernet cable, a 9.8 ft power cable, mount adapter, wall mount, table stand, snap-on mount, and a 2 mm hex key. The pad box has Neat Pad Generation 2 (NEATPAD2-SE), a 2 mm hex key, a 9.8 ft Ethernet cable, and a warranty book. Displays, VESA screen mounts, pad mounts, and a PoE injector are not included.
Will Neat Pad Generation 2 control Neat Bar Generation 2?
Yes. Neat lists Pad Gen 2 as a controller for Neat Bar Gen 2, Bar Pro, Board 32, Board 50, and Board Pro. It does not work with Bar Gen 1, Board Gen 1, or Frame. Put both devices on the same subnet to pair. Neat says that when you replace a Gen 1 pad, you must reset the paired bar as well.
Does the bundle support Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet?
Neat publishes native Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, and Google Meet on Bar 2. Pad Gen 2 is listed as a Zoom controller and scheduler, a Teams Rooms on Android controller, and a Google Meet room controller. Teams panel/scheduling on the pad is listed as coming with MDEP. Meeting licenses are not in the hardware box. BYOD over USB-C can run other apps from a laptop.
How large a room is Neat Bar 2 for?
Neat rates Bar 2 for small and medium spaces with 16 ft / 5 m reach. That is the official figure to use for layout. For longer rooms Neat points to Bar Pro (33 ft / 10 m). The pad microphone pickup is published at 2 m and is processed by the bar, not as a standalone DSP mic.
Can I run Bar 2 without the pad?
Yes, in BYOD-only mode. Connect a laptop with one USB-C cable and run the meeting app from that computer. Dedicated Zoom, Teams, or Meet rooms need the pad for setup and day-to-day control. This listing includes the pad so the room can run as a dedicated appliance or as BYOD.
What else do I need to order?
A display or two displays, network drops, and AC power for the bar. Add the Bar 2 VESA / screen-mount kit if you are hanging the bar on the display instead of the included wall, table, or snap-on hardware. Add a Pad Gen 2 wall, glass, or side mount if you are not reusing a Gen 1 pad mount. Add POE-INJ-INT if the switch cannot supply IEEE 802.3af Class 3 to the pad.
