VoIP features for the NEC DSX requires the installation of a VoIP Daughter Board (VOIPDB).
NEC DSX VoIP Daughter Board Features
- Provides 8 maximum VoIP gateway ports on DSX-40; 16 maximum on DSX-80/160.
- Allows SIP Trunk, DSX VoIP telephone, Standard SIP telephone, Standard SIP softphone, Standard SIP ATA (Analog Terminal Adapter)
- Available gateway ports may be restricted by licensing.
- In NEC DSX-40, the VOIPDB plugs into the DSX-40 motherboard.
- In NEC DSX-80/160, the VOIPDB plugs into the CPU card.
