FAQ
Is the cordless handset in the box?
Yes. You get the D892M and the D8M handset (PN 00004557), plus stand, 1.5 m Ethernet cable, metal power pin, and docs. A coiled corded handset is extra (D8xx-WB-HS, PN 00004561).
Do I need a power supply?
Not on a Class 3 PoE switch. If your switch cannot feed Class 3, add the 15W PSU (PN 00004715) or the A5E injector (PN 00004679). Neither ships in the box.
How far can I walk?
Up to 50 m indoors on a clear path. Walls and racking cut that number. Treat 50 m as the ceiling, not a warehouse promise.
Can I add more buttons?
Yes. Two USB-A ports take up to three D8C modules. That is the move when 10 SmartLabel keys are not enough.
What do people forget to order?
Power adapter, wall kit, corded handset, EHS adapter, and D8C modules. PoE plus the included Ethernet cable will bring the phone up. Everything else is an add-on.
