The V-DCH simplifies the clock synchronization infrastructure for facilities running Valcom analog intercom systems with distributed digital clock networks. Rather than ordering and integrating the V-VCU and V-DCPI as separate components with separate mounting and wiring, the V-DCH delivers both pre-mounted, pre-connected, and tested on a 2U 19-inch rack shelf — one assembly, one rack space, one installation step. The V-DCPI inside the package converts the DB15 clock output from V-SER, VC-2927, or V-2927 clock cards in the intercom system into the digital format the V-VCU requires, and the V-VCU drives 2-wire correction signals and power to the distributed clock network. Compatible with Class Connection ES, Valcom MultiPath, VC-24, and V-2924A system architectures. The wall-mount shelf option covers installations where a 19-inch rack is not available at the headend location.
