Faceplate speakers flush-mounted flat to a wall project audio and display the clock directly forward — which is not ideal when the device is mounted high on a wall or at the end of a corridor. The VB-A21 tilts the faceplate downward so both the audio and the clock face reach the occupant zone more effectively. It works with both the standard and InformaCast (IC) variants of the VIP-412-DF and VIP-432-DF.
