Description
The Valcom VIP-581A is a vandal-resistant IP FlexHorn designed for interior locations where both network paging capability and physical security of the speaker are required. A steel mesh security baffle prevents objects from penetrating the speaker cone, and tamper-resistant faceplate screws resist unauthorized removal. The horn connects to the network via a single Ethernet cable, operating on PoE 802.3af power so no separate power supply or conduit run is needed. Mounting is flexible: single-gang, double-gang, or octagon electrical box, or directly to any solid surface, with knockouts for 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch conduit.
