The VIP-172AL-VRSS combines the full SIP intercom functionality of Valcom's 172 series with a stainless steel faceplate engineered to resist tampering and physical attack. A press of the call button reaches any SIP address — a phone, a Valcom gateway, or a softphone — and VOX talkback handles the conversation handsfree. The long-line extender supports cable runs up to 300 meters, making it practical for remote gate locations far from the nearest network switch. Compatible with Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, and most modern IP telephone systems.
