The VIP-430A is Valcom's wall-mount format IP SoundPoint speaker — the same 8-inch driver and 103dB output as the ceiling-mount VIP-120A/VIP-160A family, but in a wall-mount housing for locations where ceiling installation is not practical: concrete masonry unit walls, above-door positions, corridor end walls, and open manufacturing areas with no suspended ceiling. One-way or talkback mode makes the same hardware serve as a passive receive-only speaker in some zones and a two-way intercom station in others. The AUX output extends the IP paging signal to additional Valcom amplified speakers in the same area without running a separate network drop to each location — useful for covering larger spaces or redundant speaker positions from one IP endpoint. Optional wall volume controls give end users level adjustment without requiring network access to change software settings.
