Description
The Valcom VMT-1 is a passive impedance-matching transformer that bridges high-impedance and low-impedance audio circuits in telephone paging and music distribution systems. Used as an input transformer, it connects telephone systems directly to public address amplifiers so paging audio travels cleanly from the phone system to the PA. Used as an output transformer, it feeds program material over a 600-ohm telephone line for music-on-hold applications. The unit accepts phono jack and screw terminal connections on the high-impedance side and screw terminals on the low-impedance side, fitting a wide range of equipment without adapters.
