The Valcom V-9984W is a remote input module that adds a balanced microphone input and an auxiliary line input to the Valcom V-9983-W main control module, extending the system's paging input capabilities to a second location within the same facility. Up to four modules can connect to a single main control, each carrying its own XLR balanced microphone connection with phantom power and a stereo mini jack for MP3 players, CD players, computers, or other auxiliary sources. Connections to the main module run on standard two-pair 24 AWG station cable, and the module mounts in a single-gang electrical box with a white decorator faceplate included.
