Description
Maintain life-safety speaker line supervision with the V-9999, an end-of-line device that monitors speaker circuit continuity so your paging system can detect a wiring fault before it causes a failure during an emergency.
The Telecom Spot Expert Review
Supervised speaker circuits are required by fire and life-safety codes in many jurisdictions — the system must be able to detect an open or short circuit on the speaker line and report a fault rather than silently failing. The V-9999 terminates the line at the far end of the supervised circuit, completing the supervision loop. Without an end-of-line device, the amplifier has no way to distinguish between a healthy line and a broken one.
