Description

Far-end callers miss words when people sit off-axis or HVAC noise fills the room. The Yealink VCM35 Pro is a wired video conferencing microphone built for those rooms. It uses a 6+1 microphone array, 360° omnidirectional pickup, and a 3 m pickup radius so voices around the table can be heard. Yealink acoustic echo cancellation and noise suppression can cut up to 90 dB of ambient noise in full-duplex calls. Two VCH ports let our customers daisy-chain units and cover larger spaces without a messy cable run.

The Telecom Spot Take

This mic is for IT directors and facilities managers who already run Yealink rooms and need better table coverage than a bar’s built-in mics. The 6+1 array and auxiliary sound source localization (host-dependent) are the Pro step up from a 3-mic puck. Dual VCH ports plus tabletop, adhesive, or in-table mounting give procurement a clean path from a huddle table to a boardroom. Confirm the host and firmware on Yealink’s Rooms Accessories Compatibility Lists before you order—some pairings are still marked Coming Soon.

Key Features

  • 6+1 microphone array. More capsules than a 3-mic puck, so pickup is denser around the table—useful when seats sit off-center.
  • 3 m pickup with 360° coverage. Voices from every seat in that radius can reach the far end without crowding the table with extra pucks.
  • HD Hi-Fi microphone + Yealink Full Duplex Technology. People can talk over each other without the audio chopping one side off.
  • Acoustic echo cancellation and noise suppression. Yealink states the Pro can eliminate up to 90 dB of ambient noise, which helps HVAC, hallway chatter, and projector fans stay off the call.
  • Auxiliary sound source localization. Helps the system find who is speaking (depends on the connected host)
  • Two VCH ports. Daisy-chain units port-to-port. Also supports star-cascaded deployment for bigger rooms.
  • Three install styles. Tabletop, adhesive mount, or in-table embed. Facilities teams can match furniture instead of living with a cable across the table.

FAQ

Who should choose the VCM35 Pro instead of the VCM35?

Choose the Pro when you need the 6+1 array, 3 m 360° pickup, and two VCH ports for daisy-chain or star configuration runs.

Can I chain more than one VCM35 Pro?

Yes. Yealink states the Pro has two VCH ports for daisy-chain deployment and also supports star-cascaded deployment. The maximum number of units depends on the host. Examples: up to 3 on MeetingBar A50 USB Mode, up to 4 on MeetingBoard Pro (with the firmware versions).

Does it work as an add-on to a MeetingBar or MeetingBoard built-in mic?

On listed hosts it is used as an expansion microphone. Confirm the exact host and firmware on Yealink’s Rooms Accessories Compatibility Lists.

How is it mounted?

Yealink lists tabletop placement, adhesive mounting, and in-table embedded installation.

How much noise can it remove?

Yealink states the VCM35 Pro can eliminate up to 90 dB of ambient noise and still run full-duplex audio.
