Description
The Valcom VIP-802B is a dual enhanced network audio port that extends two independent paging zones over any IP-based LAN or WAN, each zone capable of driving up to 40 Valcom one-way amplified speaker assemblies on a 25V or 70V speaker line. Two audio inputs, two form A relay contacts, and two contact closure inputs provide full bidirectional control and output signaling for each zone. An auxiliary audio input via RCA jack supports background music, which automatically mutes when a page is active. The unit operates peer-to-peer with no server required and is powered by PoE 802.3af or an optional 2.5mm DC jack.
