The Valcom V-9972-2 is a universal paging adapter that bridges analog telephone inputs (FXO/FXS trunk and station lines) and SIP VoIP connections to a paging system, with the included L9972-2 license expanding SIP capability to 4 extensions with Night Ring and Store and Play functions on all lines. The unit accepts input from on-premise PBX, cloud PBX, or CO lines, and background music plays continuously from a stereo or mono source, muting automatically when a page begins. Volume controls for background music and tones are independently adjustable, and an optional security code restricts who can initiate a page.
