Description
Control four independent IP paging zones from a single PoE device with the VIP-814B, a quad-zone enhanced network station port supporting two-way communication, DTMF zone selection, and programmable relay contacts for door and alert control.
The Telecom Spot Expert Review
The VIP-814B is the quad-zone version of Valcom's IP station port series — four RJ-11 FXS ports, four programmable Form C relay contacts, and support for up to 1,024 zones and groups via DTMF dial selection. PoE 802.3af Class 3 powers the unit, but a local 24VDC supply can be used as an alternative. Peer-to-peer operation and Windows-based setup keep deployment straightforward. Two-way transmit and receive makes it suitable for full intercom as well as one-way paging.
