Description
Want to add door entry communication to your existing phone system without running new lines or replacing equipment? The Viking C-1000B connects one or two Viking doorboxes or paging amplifiers to a single residential or business phone line, so visitors can call in and you can unlock the door from any phone.
When a visitor presses the call button, your phones ring with a distinctive cadence so you know it's a door call. Answer, talk hands-free with the visitor, then press a key to release the door strike or gate. A built-in security code prevents unauthorized access, and the C-1000B works with most Viking entry phones and doorboxes right out of the box.
Our Expert Take: The C-1000B is the simplest way to add Viking doorbox capability to an existing single line or analog station. If you need to support more than two entry points, the C-2000B (four doors) or C-3000 (up to 96 apartments) scale up from here.
