Rather than fighting feedback in real time, the FBI-1A takes a completely different approach: it records the live page from your phone system's paging port or unused trunk port, then plays it back once or twice (your choice) over the paging system after the source signal is gone. Since the microphone and speakers are never active at the same time during playback, feedback has no chance to develop. Pages up to 32 seconds can be stored, and the unit automatically adjusts to the actual page length so there's no unnecessary delay. Selectable pre-page and post-page alert tones with adjustable volume round out the feature set for polished, professional announcements.
