The Viking Electronics E-65-SS-EWP is a durable stainless steel door phone equipped with a high-resolution color video camera, enabling clear two-way handsfree communication. Designed for outdoor use, it offers weather and vandal resistance, volume controls for speaker and microphone, and selectable auto-answer for remote monitoring. Intelligent call progress detection automatically ends calls upon completion, ensuring efficient operation. Ideal for secure entry management, this unit combines robust construction with advanced audiovisual features to enhance visitor verification and access control.
The E-65-SS-EWP features a compact design that fits flush within a standard double gang electrical box. For surface mounting, Viking’s VE-5×5 Series Surface Mount Boxes are compatible options. Replacement faceplates are sold separately under model PNL65-SS.
The E-65-SS-EWP includes Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), making it well-suited for outdoor settings subject to rain or condensation. EWP models incorporate foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, and circuit boards potted with urethane or thermal plastic.
