If your PABX or electronic key system doesn't deliver enough voltage or loop current to power your line-powered devices, the Viking TBB-1B Talk Battery Booster solves that problem by boosting talk battery voltage up to 48VDC and loop current up to 26mA on low-power analog extensions.
The TBB-1B sits between your phone system's station port and the connected device, transparently passing through ringing, Caller ID data, hook switch flash, and CPC signals — so the device on the other end behaves exactly as it should, just with the power it actually needs. It works with touch tone dialers, handsfree emergency phones, digital announcers, wireless doorbox devices, and other line-powered equipment that struggles on under-powered extensions. A power LED illuminates during active boosting so you always know the unit is working.
Installation is straightforward with four screw terminals and an included 120VAC/12VDC UL listed power adapter — no special tools or technical expertise required.
