The Viking VE-5X5-NR-SS is a marine-grade 316 stainless steel surface-mount enclosure for Viking flush-mount intercoms and entry phones in sheltered outdoor locations where maximum corrosion resistance matters most.
Fits any Viking flush-mount product with a 5.0" × 5.0" faceplate. The 316 stainless steel construction resists rust, salt air, and chemical exposure — making it the right material choice for coastal installations, industrial environments, and any location where standard powder-coated steel would degrade over time. Mounts to walls, posts, single or double gang boxes, or Viking gooseneck pedestals. The NR (no rain guard) version is designed for sheltered or covered locations where the structure provides overhead weather protection.

The NR configuration keeps the footprint minimal — if you need rain protection too, pair it with a separate rain guard or choose a full-enclosure option.
