The Viking VE-6X7-PNL-NRSS is a heavy-duty stainless steel surface-mount enclosure with a blank aluminum panel for Viking products with 5.5" × 6.5" faceplates, combining corrosion-resistant construction with a fully customizable hardware mounting surface in sheltered outdoor locations.
The blank aluminum panel accepts card readers, keypads, push buttons, or any other hardware your installation requires — no custom fabrication needed. The stainless steel enclosure resists rust and corrosion in demanding outdoor environments and mounts to walls, posts, single or double gang boxes, or Viking gooseneck pedestals. The NR (no rain guard) version is for sheltered or covered installations where the structure provides overhead rain protection.
