Description
Give apartment and multi-tenant building visitors a clear view of live video and one-touch calling at a SIP VoIP entry point — the Viking K-1205-IP is a PoE-powered 12-button VoIP entry phone with a built-in directory, color video camera, and keyless entry capability.
Each of the 12 buttons is pre-programmed with a tenant's phone number — visitors press once to connect via the SIP VoIP system. The built-in color video camera lets tenants or staff visually verify visitors before granting access. A door strike relay fires on a touch-tone command to unlock doors or gates. PoE powered from a single network cable. SIP compliant with most VoIP PBX and hosted systems. Vandal-resistant stainless steel construction handles daily use.
Our Expert Take: The K-1205-IP adds a video camera to the K-1200-IP 12-button VoIP platform — a meaningful upgrade for properties where visual verification before door release is a security priority. For proximity card access alongside the camera and directory, look at the K-1275-IP. For weather-exposed outdoor locations, the K-1205-IP-EWP adds IP66 protection.
