Description
Upgrade your access control to VoIP without sacrificing the vandal-resistant durability your site demands — the Viking K-1700-IP is a SIP-compatible handsfree entry phone with a heavy-duty stainless steel keypad built for high-traffic, high-risk locations.
The 14-gauge louvered 316 stainless steel faceplate, stainless steel call button, heavy-duty metal keypad, and T-10 Torx security screws combine with PoE-powered SIP connectivity to deliver a rugged, modern entry phone. VoIP audio detection eliminates the need for push-to-talk mode, and two SPDT 2-amp relay contacts handle door strike or gate control and can also interface with a camera relay. A blue LED provides visual call status feedback. Remote programming, network downloadable firmware, and self-diagnostic capabilities make system management straightforward for IT teams.
Our Expert Take: The K-1700-IP is the direct VoIP upgrade to the K-1700-3 analog platform — same battle-tested vandal-resistant build, now on your SIP network. For weather-exposed locations, step up to the K-1700-IP-EWP with IP66 protection. If proximity card access is needed, look at the K-1770-IP.
