Description
When a high-traffic facility needs a vandal-resistant hot-line phone that auto-dials on handset lift and works with its SIP VoIP system, the Viking K-1900-7-IP delivers — built from 12-gauge 316 stainless steel with a 36-inch armored handset cable and full PoE VoIP connectivity.
Lift the handset and the K-1900-7-IP instantly dials the pre-programmed number — up to 20 digits — with failover to up to 4 additional numbers if the call goes unanswered. SIP compliant and PoE powered, it connects to your existing VoIP phone system over a standard network cable. The 12-gauge 316 stainless steel faceplate with laser-etched graphics, heavy-duty metal hook switch, armored handset cable, and T-10 Torx security screws are built to survive vandalism and abuse. Remote programming is supported via any networked PC or remotely when configured with a Static IP address.
Our Expert Take: The K-1900-7-IP is the VoIP upgrade to the proven K-1900-7 analog platform — same battle-hardened stainless construction and armored cable, now on your SIP network. It's an excellent fit for emergency call stations, visitor management points, and any location where a hot-line phone needs to survive both vandalism and heavy daily use. For exposed outdoor locations, the K-1900-7-IPEWP adds IP66 weather protection.
