Connect your telephone system's paging output to an external PA amplifier without expensive interface cards or proprietary equipment — the Viking FXI-1A is a universal paging interface that bridges FXO, FXS, and VOX paging ports to standard PA amplifier inputs with floating 600-ohm output and a relay for amplifier activation.
Select from three interface modes: FXO (loop start) for connection to standard CO lines or trunk ports, FXS (ring trip) for connection to analog phone system station ports, or VOX relay for push-to-talk paging systems. In FXS mode no external power supply is required; in FXO or VOX modes up to 6 units can share one power adapter. A floating 600-ohm paging output with volume control feeds the PA amplifier cleanly, and a normally open or closed relay handles external PA amplifier activation or muting. Compact enough to install in the wiring closet alongside the phone system.
