Description
Extend proximity access control up to 400 feet beyond your entry point with the Viking LRR-4 — a long-range 4-channel wireless receiver that works with Viking LRT-4 transmitters to provide RFID-based access control at distances a standard card reader can't cover.
Operating at 433 MHz, the LRR-4 provides up to 400 feet of line-of-sight read range — ideal for gated driveways, parking facilities, and large property perimeters where wiring a card reader to the gate is impractical. An integrated receive antenna with optional external antenna connector and adjustable read range make it adaptable to different site layouts. The LRR-4 outputs four independent Wiegand signals — one per LRT-4 button — for direct integration with access control systems or Viking entry phone systems. A NEMA 4/4X rated enclosure with conformal coated board handles outdoor installation. A transducer and LED confirm successful button presses for user feedback.
Our Expert Take: The LRR-4 is particularly well suited for residential gates and parking facilities where drivers need to trigger access from inside a vehicle without rolling down a window or stopping at a reader. Pair with LRT-4 fobs for a complete long-range wireless access solution that integrates directly with Wiegand-based entry phones and access control panels.
